Donations
The Women’s Center accepts a variety of donations. All donations are greatly appreciated. Due to increasing funding cuts, financial donations from supporters are most helpful and allow us to allocate monies directly to services.
Donations of clothing and household items in good condition may be brought to 111 North Market Street, Bloomsburg every Tuesday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. For additional information contact The Women’s Center or email us at womenctr1@verizon.net.
If your place of work or community group would like to sponsor a drive, please contact (570)784-6632 to learn how you can be a part of these wonderful projects.
Extreme Makeover: Shelter Addition
The Women’s Center is seeking individuals and organizations who are willing to refurbish a shelter bedroom with items such as: bed linens, comforters, pillows, alarm clocks, table lamps and throw rugs.
The purpose of the project is to make shelter rooms more home-like and comfortable for victims who must leave their home to escape violence.
Color and design choices, that fit our overall scheme, will be left to you or your organization.
